Project Description: This short film will be used as a proof of concept film to aid in the fundraising process for the feature film of the same title and description.

Project Description: Local Girl is about a teenage girl who has dreams of moving to NYC to become a professional ballerina, but when she enters into a dangerous romance with an older man her plans are catastrophically derailed. The film is about the nuances of emotional abuse, imbalanced power dynamics, and the blurry lines within age gap relationships.

1st AC: $300.00/day
2nd AC: $250.00/day

Looking for an experienced gaffer or AC who may be interested in DP credit for a student short film, and other things can be negotiated. Low budget vibes, and small crew, with food and transportation provided. NYC local though. Camera and other equipment is provided. It would be a 12 minute short and two days of shooting. Short is a date triller and the longline is : “A womanizer meets his match in the game of predator and prey.”
