Actors Casting Call

James (Male, mid-20’s)
An extremely anxious individual, with a love of steamtrains – a love he shares with his father. James has struggled to find a sense of meaning or any sort of success in his eyes, and is overly critical about himself, as well as being overly concerned about others. His father was quite old when James was born, so as the years have passed, James has been increasingly worried about his ageing father. Recently, he has found it difficult to accept the idea of losing his father and the idea that his father won’t be around when he finally does something he could be proud of.

Robert (Male, late-70’s)
Fully aware of his own mortality, Robert is about to turn 80 years old, but he tries to not let his age hold him back. He became a father much later than most and is sometimes troubled by how little time he has with his son because of his own age. Physically wearing down, Robert finds it difficult to do the things he once found so easy – standing up, walking, hearing. He is not worried about dying, although he is worried about how his son will take it, Robert just wants to make the most of the time he has left with his son. Regardless of what his son thinks, Robert is proud of his son.
