Seeking submissions for two roles in our upcoming reading of Robert Caisley’s new play A CONCENTRATED FIRE. The character description for the two roles are:
AJ Mahlotra- A retired professor of Philosophy; Indian-born Citizen of the UK, emigrated to the United States
Aliyah Mahlotra- Aj’s Daughter from his second marriage; A PhD student in linguistics; Late twenties
The schedule commitment for the project is:
-Rehearsal 7/25 (Monday) to 7/29 (Thursday) 8-10pm EST
The reading will take place on 7/30/2021 (Friday) at 8pm EST.

CASTING CALL FOR PAID SHORT FILM

CASTING 3 ROLES:
Skip (25-35, he/him)
Skip is neither a strong nor intelligent man. He is usually the underdog in life. But what he lacks in ability and common sense he makes up with courage, determination, and a huge sense of adventure. He might not always be the hero, but he is always heroic.
Fred (25-35, he/him)
Fred is Skip’s roommate and has been friends with him since middle school. Not particularly brave or adventurous, Fred lives a very laid-back life and tries to be a good person—not through doing good deeds, but through not doing bad deeds. He’s a simple, blue-collar man who enjoys watching football at home.
Tara (25-35, she/her, an attractive girl next door)
Tara is a nice and outgoing woman who works at a local animal shelter. She genuinely tries to be courteous and considerate of others whenever possible, and enjoys meeting and talking to new people to broaden her worldview. She also has a twin sister she loves very much despite the constant disagreements they have.
Filming in early May in Austin, TX. All roles are paid (min $200/day)
