Student film Casting call

Looking to cast

James (late 70s, male)
James is a polite, well-mannered amiable man who, despite his memory loss, deeply loves his wife, Angela. However, he begins the film disorientated and confused, and has to continue to wrestle with his discombobulation throughout most of the film.

Angela (late 60s, female)
Angela is a warm, vivacious, free-spirited woman who has been all alone for years, until her husband returns to her. She tries initially to contain her emotion, as not to overwhelm James, but is entirely overcome when he eventually remembers her.

• Auditions will take place through February 2024
• Shooting dates: 17th, 19th and 20th March 2024 (UK)

Emcee-powerhouse vocalist, vintage vibes, charming but a little edgy.

Circus Artists/Dancers-Experienced circus artists (contortion, hand balancing, juggling, rolo bolo etc) with moderate dance experience.

Sideshow Artist-Experienced sideshow artist (sword swallow, block head, bed of nails, shibari etc)

Magician-Experienced magician with both close up and stage sets.

Onstage Stage Manager-Stage Manager comfortable with occasional costumed onstage appearances.

Background in immersive and musical theatre highly encouraged!

Seeking a diverse ensemble of artists and trans and LGBTQIA+ artist are especially encouraged to submit.
