Need the following actors for a table reading over Zoom Tuesday, January 17th, 5pm EST/3pm PST for two scenes from a full length play I am working on.
Korean American woman in her early 30’s. Southern accent – especailly from Georgia – is a plus, but not neccessary since this is just table reading for now. Ability to read and speak Korean is a must. Character is heartbroken and depressed. Must be comfortable with material addressing mental health, depression, and LGBTQIA themes.
Native Korean woman in her early 30’s for . Korean language will be involved. Seoul dialect. You will be reading for two different roles. First character is named HYORIN 효린. She is a small character, but she is vindictive, manipulative, and a bored housewife. Second character is named PARK GARAM 박가람 who is flirtatious and artistic. She is attracted to THE GIRL and tries to get her to spend the night with her. Must be comfortable with material with LGBTQIA themes.
Caucasian man in his late 20’s. Character is extremely nerdy, awkward, and inexperienced around women. USA

Looking for three devising actors to join our team for Community Service, a touring theatre show inspired by the life of Trevor Prince, one of the West Midlands’ first black police officers and a significant figure in the gospel music scene.

Wanted: Black actor-musician (electric guitar – highly skilled)

To play EITHER Trevor Prince (younger) OR Trevor Prince (older) and multi-role in a devised production.
Playing Age: 20-40 OR 40 – 60.
Essential: Strong actor and proficient electric guitar player.
Desirable: Brummie accent and movement based practice.
Ideal: West Midlands based.
