MEREDITH: (mid-late 20s, female, all ethnicities, Supporting.) Meredith is a poised and elegant friend of Phoebe and Luke. She aligns with Phoebe’s perspectives, providing calm, supportive, and empathetic feedback.

XIMENA: (mid-late 20s, female, all ethnicities, Supporting.) Ximena is a joyful and content mother who fully supports “The Contribution,” a societal duty she undertook to have her child. Her belief in the system is unwavering, as it brought her and her husband Caleb their beloved child, Xiander435. She is optimistic, nurturing, and a voice of reassurance, particularly when the conversation grows tense.

ASHER: (mid-late 20s, male, all ethnicities, Supporting) Asher is a government employee directly involved with “The Contribution.” He is tough, and firmly believes in the system’s benefits. Asher is focused, often steering conversations back to the practical aspects of the situation, even when emotions run high.

GOVERNMENT HOLOGRAM: (late 20s-40s, male, all ethnicities, Supporting.) The hologram embodies the government’s authority, appearing as a towering, imposing figure with a stern presence. As it hovers beside Phoebe during her desperate search for answers, the hologram remains emotionless. Its presence is an unsettling reminder of the impersonal power that governs their world, leaving Phoebe isolated and helpless in the face of an impossible choice. Role requires wearing some SFX makeup and prosthetics around the ears/cheeks area.

GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS: (late 20s-40s, all genders, all ethnicities, Supporting.) Two tough, ruthless characters with an uncanny valley appearance.
