CASTING CALL FOR NON-UNION SHORT FILM:

Shooting Dates: August 30, 2024 – September 2, 2024
Shooting Location: Fairfield, CT
Rate: $300/12 for all roles
Roles:
MADS (Female, Latine/x/a, 10-13) – Younger sister to Lucas. Quietly confident with thick skin. She idolizes her older brother and wishes they could be friends. Must be comfortable skateboarding at a very beginner level.
JORDAN (Female, any ethnicity, 18) – Lucas’ ex-girlfriend and Mads’ older sister figure. Smart, charming, and has a big heart. She is not afraid of anyone. Must be able to skateboard at an intermediate level or higher. Please do not submit to this role if you are younger than 18.
LUCAS (Male, Latine/x/o 18) – Older brother to Mads. He loves his little sister but has a hard time showing it. He struggles with his temper and is a bit of a loner. He’s soft under his harsh exterior. Must be able to skateboard at an intermediate level or higher. Please do not submit to this role if you are younger than 18.

Casting: Role: Malachi. Female who can play the role and look the part of a 17 or 18 year old. Preferably someone in their 20s that can act the part.
Malachi, is someone wanting to be grown and independent without her mother hovering her. Smart, clever, and insightful. Before her time. Mixed race  or Hispanic look.
Compensation: Deferred Pay
Location: Los Angeles

Short film- Shooting on Saturday, April 15th around Morning ish in McKinney, Tx and White rock creek (USA)

Mom- Brownskin,Darkskin (Mid 30’s to early 40’s) is Kind, More affectionate towards Younger sister because of disorder. Has no idea Older sister felt envious.

Older sister- Brownskin,Darkskin(18+ but can look like a younger age) Jealous sister, majority of the time is moody, doesn’t like younger sister that much but still have that sister bond at times.

3 Extra pedestrians- Any appearance (1 may have a little on screen time)
