Casting opportunity for a one day shoot on Monday the 11th of December in Wicklow, it is a short being shot on film by graduate students at the National Film School in IADT.

IRIS, FEMALE, 25-35
Iris is struggling with issues of self-esteem and identity. Her hair loss is causing her to question her value both to herself and others. She is stuck, losing herself in this heavy feeling. She is unable to ask for help, fearing that revealing her weakness will turn her secret shame into a reality too bleak to bare.

Looking to cast all three roles below:

Alison (40+) – A hard working mother, Alison can’t take the loneliness and neglect that has grown in her marriage. Once she begins to question her future, she knows what she must do.

Steven (40+) -A shut-off husband, Steven is a supportive father yet begins to care less about things in life and doesn’t see his marriage start to fade.

Heikki (25+) – A mysterious guy, he doesn’t think twice about what he wants, how he’ll get it and who’s in his way.

All filming will be in Glasgow.
