Now casting for independent short psychological horror shooting end of March/beginning of April 2024 in East Ayrshire, Scotland.

LYDIA
LEAD
Age range: 28-40
Lydia is struggling to reconcile her old life with the boredom, sleepless nights, and isolation that comes with caring for a young baby. She feels that her friends, family, and colleagues are not supportive and don’t really understand what it’s like to be stuck at home alone with a baby most of the day. Her lack of sleep in particular feeds an increasing paranoia that something sinister is being planned behind her back.
Shoot length: 3 days

PAUL
SUPPORTING
Age range: 28-40
Lydia’s husband. Generally tries to help but his attempts at being helpful make things worse.
Important: Paul will not be shot face-on, instead we will see him mainly in OTS shots, in reflections, photographs, etc.
Shoot length: 1 day plus half day for production stills

FOREST RANGER
DAY PLAYER
Age range: 30-60
One scene role. The Forest Ranger attempts to help Lydia when she is convinced she is being followed. Gruff and no-nonsense character.
