Location: New York.

Dad — (Male, 40-50) Middle class suburban Dad to Lily. The archetypal incapable and bumbling sitcom Dad. Think Phil Dunphy from Modern Family and Hal Wilkerson from Malcolm in the Middle.
Mom — (Female, dark hair 40-50)�Middle class suburban stay-at-home Mom to Lily. Classic, slightly stressed, warm but worried Mom. Think Jill Taylor from Home Improvement, Betsy Randle from Boy Meets World, Jo McGuire from Lizzie McGuire.
Carmen — (Any Ethnicity, 18-24 to play 17)�Teen neighbor and best friend to Lily. Spunky, positive, upbeat, excitable. She’s on it and pretty smart too. Think Raven Baxter – That’s So Raven, Tia Landry – Sister Sister, Lisa Turtle – Saved By The Bell.
Mascot Puppeteer for Lily‚— (Any Ethnicity, 21-40, Must be between 5’5″ and 5’7″ tall)�The star of the show. Lily is introverted, unenthused and annoyed. She is sarcastic, deadpan and subversively funny. NOTE: This is not a speaking role
Mascot Puppeteer for Duo –(Any Ethnicity, 21-40, Must be between 5’7″ and 6’1″ tall)�Acquaintance to Lily. Duo is persistent, occasionally pushy and sometimes a bit mischievous. Duo is relentlessly positive, even when he’s being passive aggressive.
