Current budget supports a starting pay rate of $150/day +travel/lodging/meals for approx. 7 days of shooting (some roles will only be on set 2-4 days).

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS: all ethnicities encouraged to apply.

*APRIL (lead) female 30s-40s – the emotional heart of the story, a complex and deeply feeling woman struggling to navigate the landscape of her own grief. Once a passionate photographer, April has retreated into a cynical shell, pouring her energy into a career she doesn’t truly believe in.

*JAMES (lead) male 30s-40s – April’s husband, a man grappling with his own grief in a markedly different way; a fitness enthusiast bordering on the obsessive, he uses extreme physical exertion to escape his emotional pain. (Must be in physical condition to support a good amount of running).

*DR. YU (supporting) male 40s-50s – an accidentally charismatic and morally ambiguous small-practice doctor, specializing in the “Afterlife” consciousness replacement procedure.

*LISA (supporting) female 20s-30s – James’ sister, an aggressively ambitious artist whose work is more about provocation than substance. Lisa is the walking embodiment of the shallow, trend-chasing art world.

*INDI (supporting) female 50s-60s – April’s boss, a tech mogul who embodies the archetype of the eccentric, tyrannical fashion magazine editor.
