MERMAID PRINCESS SEREIA – A 15-year-old mermaid princess with a curious mind who longs to be a part of the human world. When she trades her tail for legs, her curiosity never lessons even though she can’t speak.

PRINCE LUCAS – A 16-year-old human who is a good human and prince. He takes care of the human version of the little mermaid when she appears. Letting her stay as one in the castle and taking her on adventures. He cares for her, but insists his heart belongs to the one who recused him from a storm.

SHELDON – A sea turtle who is also Mermaid Princess Sereia’s closest companion, and comedic relief. He follows her to the surface when she becomes human, and even puts himself in danger to warn Sereia’s family about the Sea Witch coming after her.

SEA KING MARIS – The merman Sea King. And Sereia’s father. Willingly visits the Sea Witch when his daughter is in trouble. Although he is stern, he would do anything for his family and subjects.

DOWAGER SEA QUEEN NARISSA – King Maris’s mermiad mother and Sereia’s grandmother. She is wise in the ways of humans and mermaids, and isn’t afraid to give advice when her family seeks it out. It’s revealed she studied magic in her younger days and reluctantly goes back to practicing it to save her family.

SEA WITCH REVINA – A mermaid sea witch who turns mermaid Princess Sereia into a human in exchange for her voice.

MONTY – An older parrot rescued by Prince Lucas’s grandfather. He can’t fly well, so he spends most of his time on his perch. He’s at first not a fan of Sereia’s friend Sheldon the turtle, but over the course of the film they become friends, and Monty learns to embrace change.

PRINCESS DHARA – A human Princess from another kingdom that Lucas is set to marry. She knows it’s her royal duty to marry Lucas. But really wants to be a fashion designer. But Dhara is still smart and aware of the world around her. An Elle Woods type. She is also supportive Sereia and ill will toward Sereia.

SANDRA – Sereia’s 20-year-old sister. Isn’t afraid to take a leadership role when it comes to convicing her sisters to do things, or figuring out solutions to problems.

SIENNA – Sereia’s 19-year-old sister. A secondary leadership role in the sister hierarchy. Sandra bounces her thoughts off Sienna the most. Sienna usually agrees but not always.

SKYLER – Sereia’s 18-year-old sister. Slightly vain. Thinks a mermaid’s tail and their hair are important.

SADIE – Sereia’s 17-year-old sister.

SYDNEY – Sereia’s 16-year-old sister.

KING JASPER – Prince Lucas’s father. He loves his son, but wants to Lucas to understand that sometimes being king is doing what’s best for a kingdom as a whole and not the individual king.

QUEEN OPAL – Prince Lucas’s mother. Loves her son, but like her husband King Jasper, she wants Lucas to understand that sometimes being king is doing what’s best for a kingdom as a whole and not the individual king.

KING PARTH – Princess Dhara’s father. He’s concerned that Princess Dhara is more interested in school and clothing design than her royal duties. But by the end, sees that her true passion lies in design and her design and supports Dhara in following her dreams.

CASPIAN – A fish advisor to Sea King Maris. He’s a stickler for the rules and saying exactly what he thinks King Maris wants to hear.

DYLAN – Merperson who exclaims how happy they are to finally be free of the evil sea witch’s clutches.

MORGAN – Merperson who exclaims how happy they are to finally be free of the evil sea witch’s clutches.

TAYLOR – Merperson who exclaims how happy they are to finally be free of the evil sea witch’s clutches.

OFFICIANT – Officiant of Lucas and Princess Dhara’s wedding.

CHEF HANS – Royal chef of King Jasper and Queen Opal.
