Location: Shooting in Orange County, likely near Costa Mesa (USA)

Role 1 – Jona: Lead characters best friend (~22-24 years old in appearance), confident, casual vibe, supportive, and wants things to work out for his/her buddy (think tomboy best friend if female/non-binary casting)
Role 2 – Dr Osmond: Kind-hearted, patient, professional doctor who breaks bad new gently (flexible in look/gender, ages 28-50)

Casting a Local ATX BAND.
Yeah, a bit odd, but I have a short film shooting around June 17 that features a small indie band in a critical role.  Shoots in 1 day.
Looking for a group that can compose and perform a dreamy, slo-tempo tempo tune that evokes surf and beach music in a melancholy way.  Sort of a Mazzy Star meets the Ventures vibe.  Not looking for metal, rap, hip hop.  Has to be some flavor of dream pop/shoegaze/alt-folk sort of thing.

CASTING FOR ITALIAN LADY between 60 to 80 years old , who can embody the ‘nonna’ persona. Someone with a natural love for cooking is mandatory. A good sense of humour is preferable!
