[SOLANGE] 18-32. She is a soft-spoken people pleaser who is now plagued by paranoia and distrust after a rocky start in America. Quietly intelligent despite not having a high school education. There is a distinct nervous energy about her, right below the surface, which makes her seem fragile. Must be of Ivorian descent. French fluency a plus but not required.

[JEROME] 25-32. He is bookish, introverted, and painfully prideful of his academic accomplishments. He prioritizes logic over emotion, even his own, and will lash out when backed into a corner. Ivorian descent preferred, but open to other West African ethnicities. French fluency a plus but not required.

[DOCTOR] White female. Must be comfortable with scripted violence and murder content. She informs the family of the victim’s death. Rate – $75/day (flat. no hotel, travel or stipend).

[PLAIN CLOTHES OFFICERS] 30’s to 40’s, White male. Fit build. Must be comfortable running. Must be comfortable handling prop guns. They chase one of the victims, who is later shot and killed, but the plain clothes officers are not the ones who shoot him. Rate – $100/day (flat. no hotel, travel or stipend).

Casting call for the short film: One of the two main protagonists of the film.
Production date: Filming will begin on June 17. Filming will be 2-3 days. This is a lead role and live action. Rehearsal will be depending on schedule.
