CASTING UPDATE

Casting a SAG short film “1000 Minutes”, seeking the lead role nationwide. Accepting both SAG and Non-Union submissions.

FILMING: First three weekend of November in Queens, NY.

RATE: Pays $300/day. Travel and lodging covered for out-of-town talent!

Character Breakdown:
Andy: 28-35, East Asian, Male. A software engineer who has recently immigrated to the Bay Area in pursuit of the American Dream. With the dot-com bubble on the verge of bursting, he faces immense pressure and isolation, missing his wife and two young sons, who remain in Taiwan.  MUST BE MANDARIN NATIVE SPEAKER.

A24 Feature film is looking for a male, 18+ years old, with an olive skin tone & long hair, between 5’6”-5’8” with a similar look to the actor in the photo.

Tentative work dates, 3/13, 3/25, 4/3-5, 4/8-9, 4/26, 5/6-8, 5/13 on location in Truth OR Consequences & ABQ.
+Interview prior to first work date.
