CASTING CALL: Amos’ Bride (Short Film) ~ Romance / Horror. Story exploring free will, forbidden love and patriarchal suppression.
USC Advanced Thesis Film.
Shoot Dates / Location: Sept. 9th, Sep. 16-17th, Sep. 23-24th, Sep 30th-Oct. 1st. / Los Angeles, CA (USA)

LEAD ROLE:
REBECCA: (18-20’s) Asian, female. Brave, determined, fearless. Always questioning everything. Not scared of any consequences which makes her reckless. She’s stronger and more determined than anyone in the room.
SAMUEL (18-20’s) Mixed ethnicity, male. The prophet Amos’ son. Rebecca’s lover. Caring, benevolent, protective. Strong but doesn’t show it. Secretly sensitive and only vulnerable to Rebecca.
AMOS (40-60) White, male. The cult’s prophet. An unsuspecting face. Too charming. Something is wrong with him but you can’t put your finger on it. Manipulative, narcissistic, unpredictable. He’ll do anything for the survival of his colony. You don’t want to mess with him.
SIBYL (25-30) open to all ethnicities. Slender frame, pale, sickly. Amos’ former bride. A quiet presence. Kind but not brave enough to show it.
