Julia Morten (18-21) – Female, any ethnicity. A hard-working High School senior trying not to break under the pressure of school, college prep, relationships, and finances. Military kid, living with Mom, Dad is deployed. Introverted and melancholy, as well as clinically anxious and depressed. Dating Leo, her High School friend and classmate.

Leo Chiaro (18-21) – Male, any ethnicity. High School senior. Boyfriend of Julia (Lead). Kind, friendly, and down to earth. Approaches life with optimism cultivated through hardship, not naivety. Navigating a dating relationship with someone experiencing anxiety and depression. Embodies hopefulness and comfort.
