Project Description: This short film will be used as a proof of concept film to aid in the fundraising process for the feature film of the same title and description.

Project Description: Local Girl is about a teenage girl who has dreams of moving to NYC to become a professional ballerina, but when she enters into a dangerous romance with an older man her plans are catastrophically derailed. The film is about the nuances of emotional abuse, imbalanced power dynamics, and the blurry lines within age gap relationships.
