“Nymphomaniac Anonymous”

ALEX (30s, non-binary) has started leading new sex addicts anonymous meetings in a local community center. They’re a sex addict, but through their recovery journey they decided to go back to school to specialize in sex therapy in order to truly understand their affliction. Now that they’re recovered, they’ve had an overwhelming need to help others the same way they were helped, which is why they offered to open up a group. However, they’ll soon realize that recovery isn’t a straight path.

For K (50s, male), this isn’t his first Sex Addicts Anonymous meeting. He’s come and gone every so often, he doesn’t like that he’s so vulnerable in them. He’s been abiding to abstinence for more than a year now, something he’s very proud of but has inevitably caused some distance between him and his wife. Which is why, when his wife unexpectedly asks for a divorce, he decides to give them another shot.

For MILAN (mid 20s, male), this is his first Sex Addicts Anonymous meeting. He does not want to be here; however, after a lot of sex related incidents, his older brother, who also funds his Master’s degree, has threatened Milan to either start attending meetings or be cut off.

LAURA (female) could be somewhere between her mid 20s to 40s, she’ll never reveal her age. She’s very blunt, extremely smart, and can easily read people. This is her first Sex Addicts Anonymous meeting. For some time now, she’s felt like something’s wrong. She’s always wanted the traditional family, but she doesn’t understand why she keeps self-sabotaging.

A college student who strives to distance himself from his problematic family. Tries to find a real connection with a person who doesn’t judge him based off his
families background.

Lily (PLAYING age- 19)
Eimear’s older sister. She is outgoing and sociable. As a big sister she feels she has to protect her younger sister at all costs.

Linda and Tom (PLAYING age- both 40-55 range)
Linda and Tom are Eimear and Lilys parents. Have different goals for each of their daughters.
