Desmond Mitchell – Male, White, mid-20s. Beloved of Othello. Star wide receiver for Dallas, later traded to Cincinnati.

Mr. Mitchell – Male, White, 60s. Desmond’s father and minority stakeholder of the Dallas team.

The Team Owner – Male, White, 50s – 80s. The Dallas team owner.

Journalists, Players, Medical Staff, Officers – Played by two or three actors.

Short Film:CANDICE: 18+ female, all ethnicities, looks like a teen, pretty, living modestly with her father, John.
JOHN: middle 40’s, all ethnicities, average height and weight, is a caring father who is doing his best to raise his only daughter. Setting takes place in a middle income suburb home.
LISA: age open, all ethnicities, average neighbor, friendly.
AMY: 18+ female, all ethnicities, looks like a teen, pretty and knows it.

Casting for a student short film. Production will be in early November in Houston, Texas.

Grace (80): Loves to bake, but is in early stages of Alzheimers which makes following a recipe difficult.

Younger Grace (30): Working mom who enjoys making cakes with her young daughter, Amy.

Amy (55): Daughter who is overwhelmed but trying to be patient as she bakes a cake with her mother with Alzheimers.

Younger Amy (5): Loves to bake cakes with her mom.
