HONEYSUCKLE – A 30-Minute Short Film. It is a drama and not a horror film. The vampires in the film look like everyday people other than when your see their fangs or their eyes turn red when they get hungry. It is a what if vampires were not only living among us in plain sight but also in your news feed. The story follows Craig, an everyday guy who just happened to get turn into a vampire and is just trying to fit into society.

Nadine is a journalist. Not a news anchor but more like a New York Times investigative journalist. She figures out how to find Craig, the lead, and convinces him to come on her show. She is enthusiastic and persuasive.
Curtis – Blue Collar Manager
Man 25-45 White
Curtis is a blue collar manager interviewing Craig, the lead, for a job at the company. Curtis is an complete slob and unprofessional. He eats during the interview with food on his hands and probably a food stain on his shirt, his clothes look like they have never been ironed, his office is cluttered .. he is just a mess!
Christine – Hotel Check In Clerk
Woman 25-40 White
Christine is a very attractive 5 star hotel check in clerk who greets Craig, the lead, and processes his check in for the Honeymoon Suite. Christine is an upbeat, happy person who is a bit flirty yet she maintains her professional demeanor. Scene is set in 1972 Los Angeles but will be filmed in Summerville, SC. 1970’s fashionable business attire.
Samantha – Jogger in Park
Woman 25-35 White
Samantha is pretty and a very physically fit jogger. She is out jogging late at night in a park alone. She is NOT your weekend warrior jogger but a pro who is likely training for a marathon.

Dr. Rudy – Dentist
Man 30-50 White
Dr. Rudy is a dentist who sets an after-hours appointment for Craig, the lead, for a dental cleaning. Role does NOT require any prior dentist experience and NO dental tools will be used during the scene. Dr. Rudy just talks to the patient and looks in his mouth.
Gavin – Sales Manager
Man 30-50 Black
Gavin is the VP of Sales interviewing Craig, the lead, for a sales position in the company. Gavin is Mr. GQ super sharp business suit, a serious professional who while he granted Craig an interview, Craig is obviously not the sharp dressed professional that he would ever hire for his team.
Filipe – Vampire
Man 30-45 Hispanic
Filipe is a handsome very charming Vampire. The film is a drama and not a Horror film. So Filipe looks like just an everyday man. The audience has no idea Filipe is a vampire until the very end of the scene. Ability to portray non-threatening yet with a malicious motive underneath. Bilingual Spanish and English required. Period is 1972 Los Angeles and Filipe is out hunting for “dinner” after a night out at the night clubs.
