The Host: Male, 25-50. Sadistic and bipolar  with an overwhelming desire to be noticed.  He’s known to approach his bizarre games  with a childlike enthusiasm. His oddest quality is the uncanny ability to find joy in the  adversity of others.

Sarah: Female, 18-25. Rebellious and tough,  especially to mom, Emily, yet easily crumbles under pressure. Despite mom’s recent  inquiries into her social life, which Sarah finds overbearing and unnecessary, she’s studious and maintains a 4.0 GPA.

Emily: Female, 30-50. A widowed single mom who struggles with juggling her professional career with raising her defiant daughter, Sarah. She’s caring and quick witted, but all the stresses of life drive her to find solace in a bottle sometimes.
