Celine (Female, 52)
Celine is the mother in this narrative. She is impulsive, and a little bit all over the place. Past issues of alcoholism and mental health have caused her to fall out of touch with her daughter’s life, but when she re-enters it, it is destructive and overwhelming.

Cora (Female, 26)
Cora works as an art curator with dreams of pursuing a career as a painter. She fears inheriting Celine’s disarranged traits and completely neglects any idea of resembling her mother. Throughout the film she deals with the unwanted arrival of Celine and carefully and calmly navigates her mother’s chaotic whims, until she finds herself at breaking point, showing us that she does indeed share her mother’s hot temper.
