Djaka (Black): Opinionated best friend to Aya, who’s a nurse with a passionate for beauty. Actor must be able to play a range from 20-30.

Aissatou (Black): Aya’s mother and owner of the community salon. Actor must be able to play a range from 35-50.

Tara: (Mix-Black and Asian) College best friend of Aya’s who’s a writer and main focus is race relations. Actor must be able to play a range from 20-30.

Lamine: (Black) Aya’s only male friend from college who’s a gay fitness instructor and professor in the making. Actor must be able to play a range from 20-30.

Camille: (Black): Djaka’s best friend from college, who is an elementary school from the DMV, giving her “Southern” take on things. Actor must be able to play a range from 20-30.

Derek (Black): Djaka’s on and off again boyfriend. Actor must be able to play a range from 25-30

Empress Kuukuwa (Black): Hotep manager of the nonprofit Aya works at. Actor must be able to play a ages 35-50.

Hailey’s (White): Senior VP of the nonprofit Aya works at. Actor must be able to play a ages 35-50.

Donna (Any race): Co-worker who work the desk with Aya. Actor must be able to play a ages 20-40.

TASHA (Any race):Co-worker who work at the with Aya. Actor must be able to play a ages 20-40

WAYNE (Black):Co-worker who work at the with Aya Actor must be able to play ages 18-30

KEISHA (Black) Co-worker who work at the desk with Aya. Actor must be able to play ages 30-45

HAWA(Black): One of Aissatou’s stylist and right hand woman. Actor must be able to play ages 20-40

Nana (Black): Hawa’s sneaky daughter. Actor must be able to play ages 18-25
