Looking for actors for a shoot that will take place from March 18 to 23, 2023 in New York area (USA). The project is unpaid but paid for.
Pitch: A coming of age adult with autism tries to make the most of his life but goes through difficult
paths to reach happiness.
SOUGHT PROFILES:
Main Characters:
MARK( AN AUTISTIC ADULT) : A young caucasian male, 25 years old, autistic (brain develops or works differently). He is shy, relentless, stubborn and feels uncomfortable around people. He is absent minded from the real world but still hopelessly optimistic. real people with autism and neuro divergence are welcome).
LEEA: A young caucasian woman, 25 years old. She is joyful, genuine, honest and a social person. (europeen accent) She does not understand English and communicates with gestures.
BOSS: An old Italian-American caucasian man, 50 years old. He’s at first nice but is cringy. He’s then unrespectful, terrible with his employees, (He exploits them), makes fun of everyone and is childish.
Secondary Characters:
LITTLE GIRL ( 7-9): Innocent, she thinks Mark is a strange man. She’s too young to understand disability.
MOTHER OF THE GRANDDAUGHTER (35-50): Protector of her granddaughter. She had a bad experience with her autistic brother and does not want her daughter to go near Mark.
BARISTA (completely different from LEEA)
A caucasian female (20-25 years old) more realistic and cool.
A saxophonist ( with his saxophone if possible), male, all age
A trombonist ( wit his trombone possible also), male, all age
