Looking for one female presenting actor in their late 20s and one male presenting actor in their 40s-50s

Una (Female late 20s): Had a relationship with Ray when she was 12 years of age, genuinely believed she was in love with him. Has relived her trauma every day for fifteen years and feels like she’s being punished for what happened. Doesn’t fully understand why she came to see Ray but knew that she had to.

Ray (Male 40s-50s): Went to prison for six years after his sexual relationship with Una (then aged 12) was discovered. Now living under the name Peter and with a partner a year older than him, he is terrified when Una comes to his place of work and confronts him with his past.

CASTING CALL SHORTFILM

Southampton/Hampshire area.
Shooting will happen around the 9-13th of March, and each character will be needed for approximately 2-5 shooting days. Looking for people to fill all roles.

Payment will be discussed regarding each role.

ROLES

Violet (young)
Playing age: 20-30

Violet made the courageous decision to escape her abusive environment and start over in a seaside town. She left behind her family and the city, seeking a fresh start and hoping to find love and happiness. Violet’s traumatic past has left her emotionally vulnerable, and she struggles with trust issues. She can be prone to mood swings and intense emotions.

Theodore
Playing age: 20-30

Theo is well known for his charismatic and friendly nature. He possesses a natural charm that effortlessly draws people towards him. He is outgoing, adventurous, and always up for new experiences. His desire for constant excitement and new experiences can make it difficult for him to commit to long-term plans or relationships. Theo’s carefree attitude may also cause him to overlook important details or responsibilities.
