ALL PRINCIPAL ACTORS MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH.

[ALTANERO] 40 to 55 years old, Hispanic, white man. Tall. A typical unpleasant bully type with a villainous appearance. His hairstyle tries to be cool but there’s something off about it. He might wear knockoff versions of expensive brands like “Versanchez.” LEAD

[VICTIM] 30 to 40 years old, Hispanic man. Friendly likable intelligent guy with a gentle appearance. He could win a fight against the villain, but he chooses the smart route and contacts his lawyers. His hairstyle is modern but not overly fashionable. LEAD

[GRILL COUSIN] 40 to 50 years old, Hispanic man. Friendly guy, but not very intelligent. He appears be a peaceful cousin next door type who avoids getting involved in conflicts. He gives the impression of being a “yes man.” Actor needs be good at controlling his facial expressions because he will need to convey his emotions through his face; possibly with big eyes and expressive eyebrows. Has no facial hair because that would require him to choose a specific look, and he might be too insecure to do so. However, once he hears his lawyers recommendations, he may have a “wake-up moment” and start looking more confident like someone who says “I got this.” LEAD

[MOM] 37 to 43 years old, Hispanic woman. Typical mom. She has a simple hairstyle that she can tie up quickly for work. She doesn’t have fancy nails or nail polish since she uses her hands at work. She might be wearing a work uniform. Her clothes look more worn out than her son’s. It’s clear that she prefers to give her son everything. LEAD

[SON] 14 to 18 years old, Hispanic man / boy. He speaks perfect English with an American accent when speaking Spanish. Instead of saying “Cebolla,” he might say “Ceboia.” He has a cool haircut and wears stylish clothes that aren’t expensive. He’s likable, not arrogant. He’s not into any specific subculture like “Emo,” “Rocker,” or “Stoner.” He looks like a good, average kid. Parent/guardian is welcome on set. A set teacher will be provided. LEAD

[DAD] 35 to 45 years old, Hispanic man. Has a good person dad vibe. He embodies the classic saying: bad things can happen to good people. He is physically fit, but not muscular like a bodybuilder. He has a strong and sturdy look, similar to a construction worker. LEAD
