Looking for high-energy individuals with experience performing for youth and/or working with elementary schools to fulfill the following roles: Mascot, Wrangler, AV tech.
Mascot Role: You would be one of our three characters (Otis the Otter, Farah the Fox, Bob the Bobcat). Use your hilarious body language to bring the character to life! Not a speaking role. Full suit costume (head, body, hands, feet) so it’s a workout, but total time in full costume per show is only 15-20 minutes.
Wrangler Role: You’re the lead Producer, making things happen on time, with a positive attitude. You’re the first to arrive each day, being our friendly face to our school hosts. You’re the lead communicator. You help the cast get situated, and handle all communications. No costume required.
AV Tech Role: You have experience working a soundboard and are able to run the keynote presentation. No need to bring any of your own equipment, but you will be asked to speak in the show from behind the curtain.

Performances: May 15-19 and May 22-26 (10 days, roughly 7:00AM – 3:00PM)

CASTING CALL

Tim: Male / mid-twenties
Works in the box office of the cinema. He’s a bit of a space buff, it’s his curiosity that fuels his slightly philosophical disposition. Tim is sad the cinema is closing down, more so because now he has to work some place else where him, Sean and Mira can’t do what they want. Though it might not seem this way, he’s more concerned with the fact that he’s losing the close knit bond between Sean and Mira.

Sean: Male / late twenties
He works in the cafe of the cinema. Brash and loud, Sean doesn’t shy away from an experience. When something is planned out and he’s excited, he struggles to focus on anything else. Like Tim, he’s sad the cinema is closing but at the same time, he’s excited to pursue his next career path which is to host his own radio show.

Mira: Female / mid-twenties
She’s the projectionist of the cinema. Genuine and down to earth, Mira often values other people’s enjoyment over her own. She has strong and quite elitist views surrounding film and digital. She’s also sad the cinema is closing but she knows that she wants the same job, just elsewhere.
