Tonya Morris (Lead): 25-30, Black female. Reserved and closed off, confronting harsh personal realities.

Young Tonya (Lead): 8-10, Black female. Full of energy and curiosity about life.

Mother (Lead): 40-50, Black female. Critical of Tonya’s life choices.

Boss (Supporting): 30s-40s, White male.  Pressures Tonya at work.

Boyfriend (Supporting): 25-30, Black male.  Questions Tonya’s reluctance to embrace  milestones.

Dr. Wilson (Supporting): 30s-40s, Black female. Tonya’s therapist.
