Mumble Bumble is an original fifteen-minute screenplay. It is a five-character romantic comedy depicting Julie and Matt’s first date and their inner thoughts being expressed out loud by their corresponding individual inner voices. Julie has hit the proverbial online dating wall and is led here because of her frustration from too many online dates going wrong. Matt has grown accustomed to online dates going wrong and is willing to give this first date with Julie a fair try.  Even though Julie and Matt do not hear each other’s inner voices, these two middle-aged adults are influenced and guided by their own individual inner voices who lead them to take a risk and see if this first date can possibly lead to finding true love at this point in their lives.
