Casting Call for the Short Film Megan’s Guide to Marine Biology

Megan (any ethnicity female age 18-35): She is one of the two main protagonists of the film. She is a theater student and considers herself Ocala’s newest Edutainer. She works with her friend Kate on a 2000s nu metal themed video presentation about marine biology.   She can be described as determined, creative, and confident.

Kate (any ethnicity female age 18-35): She is one of the two main protagonists of the film. She is a theater student and classmate of Megan. Together they create an unforgettable 2000s-themed presentation about the basics of marine biology for her Earth Science course.   She can be described as creative, informative and like Megan, having an appreciation for art.

Filming will be 2-3 days. This is a lead role and live-action.

This film will be 10-15 minutes. There will be a schedule for filming and reading the script.

This role is low budget but paid. The pay rate is $70 for a 4.5-hour shoot. Food and other things will be provided. Must have own transportation.
