A UK based company is looking for an actress to play an older, well spoken, “not easily impressed” English character who engages a live audience with a seemingly polite but very dry and subtly sarcastic wit. Ideally, the actor’s accent and delivery will also have a charmful uniqueness to it, such as a huskiness and/or a poshness that helps to more deeply define the character’s personality. A good reference point would be the voice of Judi Dench’s M in James Bond or Joanna Lumley’s Patsy in Absolutely Fabulous.
The role is part of an installation in a live show in Las Vegas. The role is paid with flights, accommodation taken care of by production.
