Character Breakdown:

Jerry Withers: Male, narrator of play (NOTE: This role has already been cast)

Jerry as a Young Man: Male, able to play a range of ages from 10 to 20 years old. Curious, adventurous, anxious. Comfortable enacting sexual situations. Also part of ensemble.

Jerry at 44:  Male, able to play mid-40s; Confident until faced with conflict; Comfortable enacting sexual situations. Also part of ensemble.

Jerry at 50: Male, able to play mid-50s; Also part of ensemble.

Jerry’s Mom: Female, able to play mid 40s/50s; Able to alternate between reality and fantasy home life situations; Also part of ensemble.

Jerry’s Dad: Male, able to play 40s/50s; Ability to alternate between reality and fantasy home life.

Javier: Male, able to play early/mid 20s Latino; Handsome, confident, assertive; Ultimately partners with Jerry at 44; Comfortable enacting sexual situations. Also part of ensemble.

Patrick: Male, able to play mid 50s; Mature, down to earth guy; Ultimately partners with Jerry at 50. Also part of ensemble.

Doctor: Male, able to play mid 50s: Conservative, opinionated. Also part of ensemble
