KIM HAWKINS (LEAD)
(30-50, White) A petite, strong mother who will fight for her kid. She shows tough love and pushes her son, who has dyslexia, to overcome all that life throws at him. She’s a caring woman, a Sandra Bullock in the ‘The Blindside’ type of mother.
MAUREEN (SUPPORTING)
(40-55) A nurturing and personable tutor. She thoughtfully and patiently teaches her students not only academics, but about themselves. Naturally motherly, she guides with love and understanding.
TEEN TYLER (TY) HAWKINS (SUPPORTING)
