DANIEL LEEDS
Mid to late 50s white male to play two ages: 38 and 63, Anglo Saxon or northern European look, tall, lean, angular, grey haired. A former Royal surveyor and the patriarch of a large family, he is severe, stubborn, and driven by a fragile vanity. Excommunicated from the church, shunned by his fellow Quakers, and relentlessly mocked by Benjamin Franklin for his astrological writings, he is resentful, vengeful, and hungry to regain any scrap of power or status he once had.
