Looking for a female to play a PREGNANT WOMAN working on set Friday, May 5th with a covid tewt 24-48 hours prior to working. On location in ABQ.

Filming a short comedy sketch this fall and in need of actors and equipment.

Equipment: lighting including blue & red LEDs, mics (2 minimum), camera & sound crew

Actors:
Barista: 20s-30s, POC, preferably alternative style. Ideally small in stature, has to go from perky to intense.

Customer: 20s-40s, white man, nondescript almost corporate appearance. Needs to go from very flat to frantic.

Looking for: Ezinne (early 50’s)
A religious Nigerian mother of two. She’s spared much for her family and holds high expectations over her children, including Nkwachi as a result. With time, she learns to part with expectation and embrace truth. Female. Must have a Nigerian accent.

Nkwachi (early 20’s)
A vibrant first gen Nigerian woman struggling to fully stand up in the parts of her rejected by her mother Ezinne and their traditional culture. Female / Femme. A plus: can play the bass clarinet or similar instrument and can rap or sing.

Adola (early 50’s)
A funny, charismatic Nigerian mother and Ezinne’s childhood friend. Female. Must have a Nigerian accent.

Pastor (30’s to 50’s)
A traditional evangelical West African pastor. Male. Must have a Nigerian accent.

T (early 20’s)
First gen West African musician. Plays the drums or can mimic. Femme/ ENBY.

Dancers (20’s to 30’s)
All genders. Black.

Nigerian Elder (60’s and up)
Female. Must have thick Nigerian Accent.

Manchi (14 – 16)
Young male. Black.
