This Privacy Policy explains how SND Media LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, USA, collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use Hollywood Audition Updates — our website at hollywoodauditionupdates.com and our mobile applications for Android and iOS (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you give us
- Account information: name, email address, password (stored encrypted), and username.
- Talent profile information: optional details you choose to add to your casting profile, which may include your age or date of birth, gender, location, height, build, hair and eye color, ethnicity or playing range, union status, skills, languages, training, and credits. Some of this may be considered sensitive information in your jurisdiction. You choose whether to provide it, and you can edit or remove it at any time.
- Media uploads: headshots, photographs, showreels, video and audio files, resumes, and other documents you upload.
- Payment information: if you purchase a membership, our payment processors collect your card or billing details. We never see or store your full card number. We retain only a transaction record — amount, date, membership level, last four digits, and processor reference.
- Communications: messages, support requests, and survey or feedback responses you send us.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and app data: device model, operating system version, app version, language, and time zone.
- Usage data: pages and listings viewed, features used, search terms, and time spent.
- Log data: IP address, browser type, referring page, and access timestamps.
- Push notification identifiers: a device token, used only to deliver audition alerts you have opted into. You can turn notifications off in your device settings at any time.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 8.
2.3 Information we do not collect
We do not collect your precise GPS location, contacts, call logs, SMS messages, photos other than those you deliberately upload, or biometric data.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account and deliver the Service
- To publish casting calls, audition notices, and industry updates
- To send audition alerts, newsletters, and service notices you have subscribed to
- To process membership payments, renewals, and refunds
- To let you apply to casting calls and, where you choose to apply, to share your application with the relevant casting professional
- To respond to support requests
- To improve and troubleshoot the Service, and to measure aggregate usage
- To detect and prevent fraud, spam, scraping, and abuse
- To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own advertising purposes.
4. Legal Bases (UK/EU Users)
If you are in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, we process your data on these legal bases: performance of a contract (providing the Service and your membership), consent (marketing emails, push notifications, optional profile details, non-essential cookies — withdrawable at any time), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
5. When We Share Information
We share personal information only in these situations:
- With casting professionals: when you submit an application to a casting call, the profile details and media you attach are sent to the casting director, producer, or agent who posted it. We cannot control how third parties use information you send them — please review any listing before applying.
- With service providers who operate the Service on our behalf, under contract and only for that purpose (see Section 6).
- For legal reasons: to comply with law, a subpoena, or a lawful government request; to enforce our Terms; or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.
- In a business transfer: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before it becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. We do not authorize any of them to use your data for their own marketing.
7. Public Visibility of Your Profile
Your account information is not public by default. Anything you deliberately publish to a public profile, or submit with an application, will be visible to the audience you have chosen. Please do not upload information you are not comfortable sharing with casting professionals.
8. Cookies
Our website uses cookies for essential functions (login sessions, security, remembering your membership status), and for analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but essential cookies are required for login and checkout to work. Our mobile apps do not use advertising cookies.
9. How Long We Keep Your Data
- Account and profile data: for as long as your account is active. Deleted immediately when you delete your account.
- Uploaded media: deleted with your account.
- Payment and invoice records: retained for 7 years to meet tax and accounting requirements. These are no longer linked to an active profile.
- Support correspondence: up to 2 years.
- Server logs: up to 12 months.
- Anonymized, aggregated statistics: retained indefinitely. These cannot identify you.
10. Deleting Your Account
You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time:
- In the app or on the website: go to hollywoodauditionupdates.com/delete-account/, log in, and confirm.
- By email: write to support@hollywoodauditionupdates.com from your registered email address with the subject “Delete My Account.” We action requests within 7 days.
Deleting your account cancels your membership. If you subscribed through Google Play or the Apple App Store, you must also cancel the subscription in your store account. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
11. Your Privacy Rights
All users
You may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your account, a copy of your data in a portable format, or that we stop sending marketing messages. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion; to request correction; and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not knowingly collect or sell the personal information of consumers under 16.
UK and EEA residents (UK GDPR / GDPR)
In addition to the rights above, you may object to processing, request restriction of processing, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
12. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States and our servers are located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for transfers from the UK and EEA.
13. Security
We protect your data using HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, encrypted password storage, access controls limiting staff access to what is necessary, a managed hosting environment with firewall and malware protection, and regular software updates and backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
14. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not permit anyone under 18 to create an account.
Where a casting opportunity involves a performer under the age of 18, the account and profile must be created and managed solely by that performer’s parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for all information submitted.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, or that an account has been created by a minor, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@hollywoodauditionupdates.com.
15. Third-Party Listings and Links
Casting calls on the Service are submitted by third parties or aggregated from public sources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of third-party listings or the websites they link to. Never pay a fee to attend an audition, and report suspicious listings to us.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with a new “Last updated” date, and for material changes we will notify you by email or an in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Policy.
